The miscarraige threads

These are every day and will continue on until the second trimester, then they will become few and far in between. I, just like alot of other woman are drawn to these threads. Its like a fricken car accident.. you cant help but take a peek and its hard to look away. The whole time you sit back and think "please dont let this be me, please dont let this be me." I cant tell you how many times I want to just reach through the computer screen and give someone a hug. The problem with researching the birth boards on miscarriages or symptoms of a miscarriage is that the woman who are miscarrying are the ones who are looking for the most support so the threads are dominating the good news and in turn scaring the shit out of every pregnant woman on the board because of the misconception that they are so common. Fact is, they are very common. The book I have been reading 'In the Womb' says 50% to 70% early pregnancies end in miscarriages without the woman even knowing about it! Scary stuff.. meanwhile, we sit back and play the waiting game until we get to see a heartbeat on an ultrasound screen. Doc Brummer says miscarriage rates go down to 4% once you see a heartbeat. My new Doc say less than 10%. I like Doc Brummer stats better ;). Everyday there is a new thread from a woman who finally got her ultrasound, only to learn that the baby has no heartbeat. Not common? hmmm. 2 of my very close friends had exactly this happen. One of them at 12 weeks. *sniff* come on little bean..you can do it! Please grow healthy and strong and join our little family. I am so ready to have another baby and way ready to get my body back for good!

5 weeks 5 days (3 weeks, 5 days since ovulation)

Come on June 8th! I cant wait to see my little beans heartbeat!

My sense of smell constantly amazes me. I dont notice it all day but when I do smell something strongly I get a big fat reminder that I am pregnant ;). I have that pregnant head fog going on that I had with Sebastian. A good indicator that the first trimester symptoms are about to hit me hard! Nausea please, they say its a very good sign that things are moving in the right direction.
